Hiya All,
As title says really.
High withered horse, saddle slips forward slightly in fast work and irritates huge shoulders.
(doesn't help that his new favourite trick is canter to halt...lol)
(yes has been checked and double checked by an excellent master saddler, but this is the closest we are going to get for now, until back builds up more, very very hard to fit! I know a pad doesn't make a bad saddle fit, but i'm not willing to have a custom made at this point)
Also would like some shock absorbtion, think carriage horse trot! To help with my back too...
Looked at Limpet pads, but not sure if they will press on his withers? Also they look quite thick, do they alter the saddle fit in the gullet area?
Any ideas much appreciated
