saddle pannier help please

me and my friend are planning on going on a long hack sometime, so though id buy a saddle bag/pannier whatever u call it to take some food, are there any you can buy for just a normal gp saddle or are there only ones for endurance saddles? if there only ones for endurance saddles ill just buy the numnah with a pocket on it from robinsons and shove a sandwich n choccy bar in that hehe

my pocket style numnah is great I just stick a hoof pick, a knife and some string in it, sits better than saddle bags and not in the way at all.

I would advise a 2 pocket numnah, Zilco Puffer looks interesting.
Like a Poly pad with 2 pockets.
The numnah I got from Robinsons recently has just the one pocket.

There's a thing called a bananabag which looks like a bumbag that fits round the back of your seat. It also has a reflector and a flashing light on it facing the rear for bad light conditions.
You can take the whole thing off as use it as a bumbag on yourself too. Carry your keys, food etc in it. Pretty neat idea.
