I'm looking to get my Connemara x TB a new saddle

Whatever fits! But i dont like the flocking in GFS saddles, its cheap and goes hard and lumpy easily. Pessoas have a banana tree so dont like them either! Of your list Barnsby would be my 1st choice

Definately other lol sister has an Ideal WH saddle for her fell and it is so comfy and fits really well, she was hard to fit as has withers like a table.
I have a m2m saddle for Roger that is fab but also have a wintec dressage saddle thats good as well.

I've got a sandringham saddlery saddle.
I would consider any make except a stuben as I find them ridiculously uncomfortable to ride in, I just go with the one that fits my horse the best.

I have an Ideal VSD for Genie which is GORGEOUS, and Mazzie had a Jefferies which was also GORGEOUS!

Definately 'Other' for me!

Barnsby and Ideal are both fab makes of saddle. I have a barnsby jump and dressage at the moment, and they are fantastically helpful as a company.

Whatever fits I go with, however I always start at Ideal!!

I've got a black country on my horse at the moment (same as quite a few on my yard!) and I love them

They're the comfiest thing in the world and great quality leather, mine is 2nd (maybe 3rd) hand and still going strong and looking good. I would highly recommend one

(Did I mention that my horse is a Tb x connie too? I love the cross between those two breeds!)

I have an Albion Dressage and love it. I previously had a WOW dressage and hated it. At the end of the day it's what suits and works for you and your horse.

I wouldn't set your heart on any particular make of saddle as some saddles don't suit some horses. I have 2 show jumpers & both have different makes of saddles as those particular saddles fit them each well.

I have and Ideal Suzzanah and i love it to bits. Different makes fit different horses. My horse has a high wither and some makes of saddle will never fit him not matter what was done to it.

I have an Albion on my TB cross - and previously had him in a Bates Caprilli (which was not the greatest fit on him, in terms of saddle 'type').

It's important that you get a saddler out to fit the correct type of saddle to him, as trees are different on different makes.

My cob has an arabian saddle company saddle and it's great to ride in. She used to have a jefferies falcon event but grew out of it - had it for 5 years and it lasted well.

I am a big fan of Ideal saddles, but they dont fit everything so you just have to go with whatever fits the best.

My TBxConnie used to have a wintec & a bates Love my bates saddles! Glad they fit new horse too

I think i#ll end up with a bates as he's got a wintec Close contact at the moment, and it fits him well but i'd like to get him a nice leather saddle, it will be fitted correctly by my old saddler Malcom who is excellent and i wouldnt use anyone else. although i hear the people from colmon croft and Ingatestone are very good too.
