I have a welsh second D with very sore back with poor rear end movement not helped with poorly fitted saddle which can not now be used I have tried 2 fitters who could not help, I desperately need to find a qualified fitter in the hampshire area who can help, I have been borrowing a WOW saddle while he has been at the vets can any one help a desperate Mum?
Feel your pain, have been there, done it with saddle fitters. We must have got through about six, seven even, here. Got the t-shirt, mug, DVD, all the flippin lot.
Just bumping this up for you: can anyone in that area help???
You say he has a sore back...is this a result of the poor hind movement or the saddle? If its the latter I would be inclined to get that sorted first and stick to ground work as he will change shape as his muscles develop. Then I would search around for someone who fits any of the adjustable saddles. My*saddler is excellent, but I'm not sure he'll tra el to Hampshire (I'm in Eats Sussex)
Try http://www.equineequilibrium.co.uk/ if you want to a phoenix or flexee saddle. Another advantage is Louise is a body worker as well so will be able to factor that into her fitting.
