I'm finding it very impossible to find a decent jumping saddle, I'll list my requirements!
Must be black 17"
Wide fit
Forward cut with big knee rolls, I have very long legs and the horse likes to stop so need something very secure and sticky.
Ideally leather
And a absolute maximum of 500

Am I looking for the impossible?! I can't find anything :(

We have a thorowgood saddle that does a similar job, have you tried ringing round saddle fitters to see if they have one or can source one from the wholesalers for you?

I have an albion k2 jump saddle with big knee and thigh blocks which I brought brand new, but I think there are plenty of second hand ones out there that might meet your budget maybe? Have you looked on preloved? Lots of people advertise on there x

Thanks, wasn't keen on the look of them but I think I'm being too fussy from working on a show jumping yard haha! x

I was going to suggest the albion too as it has huge knee rolls. Or what about the ideal impala? The one I tried (new) was horrifically blocky. I made a face like a cats bum and bought a prestige instead but if you like that feeling there are plenty of them around second hand and they are (being Ideal) lovely saddles apart from all the guff under your knee?

Most showjumping saddles I would call nice have very little in the way of blocks and rolls so don't fit your bill probably.

Thank you, yes I would die for a prestige :o going up to the local tack dealer today but even she said she doesn't have much :(
Just can't find one under £500 and I'm not trading in my GP, far too comfy!

I would ask your fitter what they think might fit and then keep a very close eye on your local facebook groups.
I have seen some absolutely lovely saddles on the ones I am a member of going for an utter steal. Pretty sure I sure an albion monoflap go for less than £500 quid for example

Good luck, saddles are such a nightmare!
