Saddle size pleeeease *pic*

Guys - what size saddle do you reckon? My butt is clearly too big for this one!

I'm am a 17" from hip to knee but that won't fit him - the one he has was fit for a child

Any ideas?

It's impossible to say from your photo, go to a saddler & try sitting on a few & that way you'll get a good idea of the size you need.

Ditto the above... it looks from what I can see in the photo that you could go an inch or two bigger but not much more... he runs out of ribs! It is very hard to tell with him at that angle...

treeless? they are bigger and wont rub? just a thought? can i ask what kind of bridle that is please? is it to stop the pone grabbing the bit?

depends on how long the ponies back is. My 13.2 can take a 16" saddle just fine. looking at the current saddle, I wouldnt say that you can go much longer as it will sit behind the last rib. I would say maybe 15 or 16" tops. You could get a 15" saddle with a deep seat as these are more accommodating for bottoms.

I will have a looook about - I intend getting the saddler on down but would just like to have a browse on the web for possible options.

Re bridle - no idea. I bought him today. Going to pick him up tomorrow so will ask the seller everything. That pic was me trying him out
