saddle sizing question

Right Ive just bought a Gullet gauge so i can check that my wintec saddle still fits my horse, reading the instructions on the back it says to place the saddle on the horse in the riding position making note of a reference point directly underneath the saddle nail.

My questions is where is the saddle nail? Ive asked a few horsie friends and no one seems to have heard of it before!

Does any one on here know and if so can the explain to me in "english" please.

Think that is where you would find the stud with the makers badge on it.

correct, the nails are either side of the gullet.
