saddle slipping back

My connie has huge shoulders and is quite fit, so no really belly. His saddle is correctly fitted but does slip back especially when we are out exploring up hill and down dale! He wears a breast girth when we are going adventuring. Any suggestion on a girth that might help? He wears a leather atherstone girth at the moment.

Are you still at livery where you've been a while? There's a LeTixerant there you could try (and be absolutely 100% sure it's not too wide or low in front, and you have the right girth straps to help).

I was going to say LeTixerant too, I have a slightly funny shaped horse with huge shoulders and it does help a lot.

(Caveat, I know a girth is not a magic fix if something else isn't quite right but it is a very helpful part of a solution!)
