Saddle slipping

Saddle keeps slipping all of a sudden? someone else rode him the other day and said it happened to her too. I thought it was just because i had a different numnah on but she used his usual one?

Any reason this could happen out of the blue?

Doesnt seem to have changed shape or anything?

Could the horse have changed shape? Maybe your saddle needs re-flocking or re-fitting. It may seem easier to buy an anti-slip pad but if a saddle slips it doesn't fit. If it does still slip after fitting sometimes you can get a girth strap attached further back which helps quite a bit

It's happened with 2 different saddles??
He may have changed shape slightly but not very muchh atal if he has.

Im going to get someone out to fit him as i really would like a new saddle anyway
