Saddle sore and how to get rid of it

My horse has a saddle sore that looks like a corn, about 3-4mm raised off the skin. For obvious reasons this is making him uncomfortable - it was a set of numnahs I was using That caused it (won’t be using them any more!). This has also been a route for rain scale to work its way in so I’m treating that with gold label tea tree mist, and dilute hibiscrub.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of it? is it worth getting the vet out? Pictures attached (if I’ve done it right!)

Just had the vet out, it’s just a saddle sore, thankfully! We’ve picked off the scab, needs cream and washing every other day, to get on top of the rain scald too. No riding for 2 weeks! Will do some lunging though or I’ll have the most excitable boy to ride!
