i wouldn't say so from those pictures but to be sure I'd want a picture from further away so see it in relation to the body as a whole

When I put Ty's saddle on I usually put it gently half way up the withers and push back and it fits into place so to speak.....I'd say it looks about right to be honest.....

Did you get the stirip reflectors as well? The first thing that I thought was is that my saddle because of the reflectors.

By the way I have come up with some rules, I will pm you them.

i place in front of withers and slide back, it should then come to natural stop, it should theoretically, slot into place, his back looks short like my lads which always makes it look to far back!!

Spot on.

However, may need a slightly narrower gullet as looks to be sat down hill just a small amount... but difficult to tell just from those piccies.....

If the saddle fits then surely a saddlecloth is better? don't agree in sticking a thick sheepskin under if the saddle fits - you'll just make it tighter again! x

I have had real saddle issues recently! I think the saddle is spot on at shoulders but looks like it is past the last rib - possibly this type of saddle is too long. Are you having any problems? If in doubt get your saddler in to check.

it was put on because when the saddle was fitted he was stuck between 2 sizes & we where told to go for the slightly bigger size & use the sheep to pad out till he built up
