Due to getting a new saddle I need to sell my current ones. Saddler is taking the Barnsby in part ex which leaves me with the Bates to sell.

He told me if I am prepared to wait for the right price I could get £500 for it due to its condition ("as new" - cost £800 new a few years ago but hasn't been used more than half a dozen times). Tbh, I'd rather get shot of it for slightly less than its worth so was thinking of advertising it privately but prepared to take an offer. Ebay will be a last resort as watching the market things just aren't selling on there atm.

So any other suggestions on where to sell? I was going to put a note up at the local feedmerchants but not sure where else.

My saddler told me it was best to sell on Ebay as some people can get almost as much as they paid if the saddle is a good make and in good condition. He had a girl who wanted to PX her Albion, but he rarely does PX so told her to stick it on ebay. She got £750 for it on Ebay!
