Saddle with curved tree needed - any suggestions?

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am on the lookout for a jumping saddle for my horse. Current saddles that were used on tb's have tree's that are too flat.

I have just purchased a t4 high wither gp on the advice of saddler to keep me going. Seems a reasonable saddle and comfy enough. However my intention is to go eventing later on this year, which I will need a jumping saddle (from personal experience).

I have asked my saddler what brands she thought might fit, so I could try and keep a eye out for that elusive bargain on eBay or preloved to try and get the right one, as I haven't got £1000 to spend on anew saddle.

All she came back with was some horrendously expensive ones that might not fit anyway.

Just wondering what other people's suggestions are? I was maybe wondering about saddle company saddles as I believe the trees are adjustable and don't cost too much 2nd hand?

Kent and Masters are essentially the same as Thorowgoods but leather, (made by the same company) I think they do a jumping version if the T4 fits your horse ok? They're about £700 new but I'm sure there'd be a bargain to be had somewhere...

Not sure how accurate it is but when saddle shopping recently i was told that Wintecs have a really curvy tree.

I have the opposite issue, I have a Barnsby curved tree saddle but need a flat tree one since my mare has lost a lot of weight. Im gutted as I only bought it 18 months ago brand new and its really comfy and in immaculate condition.

My saddler told me my stubben was on too curved a tree for my horse - I'm not sure how curved but worth a try. Maybe see if you can find a saddler to bring out several different makes (even if a bit out of your price range) so you can try and find what works.
The same saddler tried to sell me saddle company one as they had a flatter tree - although you're right adjustable. They are comparatively cheap new £800 ish for full leather one, so second hand half that and less if you have one that is part synthetic. I wonder why they are so cheap second hand - not sure how well they last.

I went for a second hand expensive model in the end, same price as new saddle company but should hold it's value a bit better.

I second the Stubben suggestion....specifically, the Stubben Siegfried. If you are anywhere near Warwickshire I may know where there is a second hand one that could be for sale.....friend was muttering about clearing out tack room and getting rid of surplus kit. Know she has one, so can ask if you are interested. PM me if of any use.

Interesting this is the model I have! Perhaps it's a particulally curvey model!! I love mine - gutted it didn't fit my horse - I'm hanging on to it incase it fits future horses - but if you're in Lincs and want to borrow for a bit it's sat doing nothing!

Stubbens are easier to buy on e-bay than most saddles to as they have the real width stamped in the buckle guards so no worry that someone elses idea of 'medium' isn't yours!! They have numbers 27 (v narrow) to 31 (wide)

I'll third an older Stubben Siegfried, the newer ones come in different shapes of tree, so not that reliable to buy over the net. You should be able to pick one up at around £200-£300 from E-bay and they last, mine is around 25 years old and still perfectly useable.

What size etc? I have a saddle company saddle for sale, very curved tree and will take a few pics? (Don't think its adjustable though?) Don't want a lot for it. PM me if interested
