hi :)
short story is i bought a new saddle in sept last year and it doesn't fit , i am fairly sure it never really did fit properly
it has made my horses back sore and i am absolutely furious with the saddler that "fitted" it

would i have any chance of getting my ALL of my money back ?
i have yet to contact the saddler but will obviously give him the opertunity to refit it but tbh i have lost all faith in his ability :(

Honestly no you won't get all of your money back - saddle fitting is just too subjective and Sept to Jan is quite a long time to decide it doesn't fit.

At a guess you paid c.£1000 for it, sell it on for £500/600 and move on. The time, hassle and agro over £400 ish just isn't worth it.

Check qualifications of saddler and get local references and make sure you are happy yourself before settling on a new one.

there is no way i am loosing £400 on a saddle i just can't afford too :( it is worth the agro to me
saddler re flocked/checked my other saddle at the same time (same horse) and that still fits perfectly
iv'e just started to use the dressage (one that doesn't fit) saddle more often than once a week and it has made him sore , it looks like it fits just looking at it but if you lift the skirt and slide your hand under it there is simply not enough flocking in the middle section so all the pressure/weight is pushing on the back 2" of the saddle
its like the under side of the saddle is shaped like this ^ (but a curve) rather than sort of a flat u shape to follow the line of the back

i feel well and truley ripped off by a master saddler that i trusted :(

Good luck then, you'll spend more that £400 on solicitors and courts bailifs etc trying to prove he was in the wrong and then getting your money back.
At least in the interim you have one that does fit that you can use.

i know your right really :(
thanks for your replies , i'm just so angry that he's sold me a saddle that has hurt my poor honest horses back
ill just have to hope he can adjust it to fit properly when i ring him when my horses back is better

you expect to be able to trust these pro's to do a good job :(
