Probably been done before - what qualifications would I be looking for when looking for a saddle fitter. I wish to buy and have fitted a new saddle. Thanks

SMS master saddler IMO. Means they can do adjustments too! What area are you in?

you need a good saddle fitter - I do not agree that that necessarily means an SMS registered fitter. The best in the country in my opinion is KAy Humphries - she is not an SMS fitter. TheSMS master saddlers are not fitters - so be wary of that one, they are trained by the SMS to make saddles - but have not necessarily been trained to fit - and yes you can be a master saddler without ever having learned to fit.

I would go on recommendation from someone whose judgement you can rely on. So many times I see saddles that are a really bad fit because some expert has said oh this is the make to have and yes they have no expertise in the area.
