New saddler came today to try and fit a jumping saddle to my homebred. She found a slight 'ridge' on her left side. All her saddles have always slipped to the right and saddler thinks it might be this. She's never had any issues with her back at all, but as I'm at uni someone else has been schooling her for me and she can be very unflexible on the left rein and when pushed to go on a small circle can kick out at the leg. There's no sensitivity when poked or prodded. Saddler pointed out her hip drops ever so slightly on that side if you looked very very closely. So we're getting the osteo out, and then the physio if it seems to be muscular. Then if no improvement, down the vet route.
My mind's immediately jumped to KS so please lots of reassurance if possible! Hopefully we can get someone out before Christmas. I'm back to feeling useless at uni but am going home Thursday for Christmas so can give her a cuddle.
