Have you tried Guy from Chobham rider or the Saddler from Buttons Saddlery (both are online if you google them) they both seem to have a good reputation.
The saddler at Buttons is Adrian Benge(sp?). He fits saddles for the riding school where I keep my boy... has a great reputation. Chobham saddlers is also very good but a tad expensive for my liking!
Yes but you won't get him, just one of his employees. And after they've sold you an overpriced saddle you'll find them distinctly non communicative when you need any reflocking etc :-(
hi i would not recommend saddle world when you have brought a saddle which they have recommended they seem to disapear, or your horse has changed shape etc and you need another one. i have had most saddlers and i think andrew reilly is brill he is always honest and never sells you anything he is not 110% sure of and if he can make the saddle you already have fit he will i would really try him.

Hooray, it's not just me then. I couldn't have put it better myself
John Llyod has always done my saddles and i have always been happy with them but he can be a little bit pricey sometimes if your on a budget like me
He also doesn't deal with synthetics.
Recently i was recommended someone called Micheal (can't remember his second name though
) and he seemed quite good too and really helped my friend who's horse had a very sensative back so she wont use anyone else now. He deals with sythetics so thats why i went with him this time round.
He is slightly more expensive than John on his call out though but i'm not sure about saddle prices as i had already brought one and just got him to check it.
Hmmm stay well claer of Saddlworld, I could do a better job fitting a saddle!! My pony had a very expensive "made to measure" which was such a bad fit she ended up having 6 weks off and some very expensive physio!!!!

Not sure you should have written this, against the rules. But I agree with you 100%, had trouble with the company.
I have to agree - some years ago my mum was persuaded to buy a brand new stubbern (sp) saddle from them that was very costly and she only really wanted something secondhand for hacking!!!
Peter Husband!! He is in Kent near West Malling. Lovely guy but more importantly he is a QMS and has the skill to re-tree saddles. I understand that the Queen commissioned him to make a saddle for Sophie-Rees Jones as a wedding present! Do give him a try he is quite reasonable too - reflocked and replaced the girth straps on my aged Albion for about 100 quid.
