I am very annoyed!!

I had a saddler out ( i wont mention names ) about a month ago, my saddle needed checking. Turns out it was too narrow so it had a new gullet and saddler said it was fine...but now i have noticed it is really low his withers!! NOT happy!

So now i want someone different to come and check it for me. Can i have your recommendations please

Thanks in advance

Brian from TDS. It's near Alton, so a fair way, but well worth it :D He's been super reliable, and has undone a bit of damage done by other saddlers in the past  :p

Di from Calcutts. Honest as the day is long

I have seen her come out to fit a saddle to a pony and turn around and say none of my saddles fit perfectly, I can't sell you any of them (I was there. She was right, none were perfect, but some were close and I bet and have seen other saddlers sell them to people!)

Chrissy Radford of Southern Saddlery (youll find her in the NFED directory) came out to me in Salisbury a few weeks ago, had a spanish saddle for my andalusian that id bought online and wanted to know if anything could be done to help it fit him better. Unfortunatly it was just to narrow and ive now sold it on, nonetheless she was very thorough, extremely helpfull and really took her time explaining all the options to me and helping me decide what would be best for my horse. Would defnatley use her again even though shes based in Ringwood, Hants so the callout was slightly more expensive than others in my area.

I use Martin Andrews from Horse-e-Things, have used a couple of others in the past and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole in future. Martin has always been fab.

Another vote for Martin Andrew. if you call horse e things hen they should be able to give you an idea about when he could get to you.
