Personally wouldn't use Colne, they concentrate more on stands at shows now and unfortunatly their fitting skills aren't all they ought to be (considering Maurice's standing in SMS!). Prob fine if your horse isn't tricky to fit and you have deep pockets, but I haven't found them suitable tbh.
We now use Mike Norton http://www.saddledoctors.co.uk/index.htm Friendly, great stock of lots of diff brands at diff prices and v v good fitters - really know their stuff. Excellent for our tricky to fit but v sensitive SJ mare!! Couldn't recommend them enough!
 
Would agree with Starzaan, Maurice is very good and also Chris Gohl comes over this way, however he does tend to stock the pricier saddles, although he may do 2nd hand not sure but very good too.
 
Stroud Saddlery are totally fab - I know loads of people (several of them are on here too) who use them and I've never heard a bad thing said about them :)
 
Dont use anyone at Stroud Saddlery but Laurence. PM me if you want to know why!

We've had someone called Lindsey recommended to us from Cotswold saddlery I think?
 
Thanks for all the advice :).

My sister has just told me that she has a voucher for Wadswick Saddlery, and they have two saddlers there Nicky Coomb and Chris (something can't remember his last name :o). Any one used/heard of them :)? As it may be a good way to use up said voucher :).
