Saddlers - Notts/Derbys/Lincs/Leics area

Taking a step further towards getting my new saddle, does anyone have any opinions on either of these 2 saddlers? -

Lorna Hamilton - Ashbourne based

Debbie Richardson - Newark based

Since those 2 are the only fitters in my area to do the make i want!

Debbie in my experience is very very helpful. Havent heard such good things re. Lorna! What saddle do you want?

WOW. Both those 2 cover my area and had heard about Debbie from other people (not in terms of theyve used her and shes good, more just that shes about) but not heard of Lorna at all...

Ah ok, I am a bit of a saddle anorak and the only well fitting Wow I have seen in our area has come from Debbie....

Glad that shes got a good rep, i had visions of people coming and saying they were both awful and that my chances of a well fitting WOW werent great ... relieved!

Whats her call out fee etc like? I know first few months wows need to be looked at a fair amount to change fittings. Am about an hour or just under from Newark

I find Lauren at Hoffaloof very good too!

She has helped me add to my saddle collection

Thanks, ive had saddles off Bernie before but they dont do Wows ... got my kieffer from them...

Same tbh, when i bought my kieffer Lauren was still a part timer, and the saddle before that i believe she wasnt even there! The other saddle weve bought from a tack shop we got from Willmotts (well thru since the owner got stubben out directly for us)

Just had a thought, Debbie does do other saddles too doesnt she? Cos id probably be looking at P/Xing my kieffer for one :/

My friend has used both for her new WOW and out of the two would recommend Debbie. Another friend also swapped from Lorna to Debbie
