Funnily enough I have just had a "mutually agreed" cancel of a sale through ebay with this company. Bid on a half pad which they advertised in black and white - when I won the item I sent them an email requesting the white one. They then got back to me to say they only had it in black - I said I wanted to cancel which they have been fine about but I just got an email from ebay saying something about them getting fees back. Don't know if that's from ebay or if they are expecting me to cough up for their re-listing fees (ok it'll only be a few pennies but it ain't my fault they advertised something they didn't have) so I'm not paying.
I paid for an item 5 months ago and despite several emails etc they said they will not send it again until I pay p&p again as they had already sent it and said it had been sent back to them. I have tried to pay p&p again and again and again with no reponse from them and now its too late to complain to ebay, so Im not really sure what to do. Its partly because I forgot about it to be honest so kind of my fault but not responding to emails or bothering to contact me when they have my money is NOT my fault. Looking at earlier posts it seems that I will not get this resolved. Any ideas? Any way I can complain to ebay?
Did you pay by paypal, they're great if you make a complaint? Otherwise post on the ebay forums, the users are really helpful and know what you can and can't do. Doesn't sound like it's your fault, if you can't pay the P&P!
We had hassle over 2 flash nosebands - did buy it now so paid full price and nothing came - finally managed to get the bloke on the phone and he said he'd sent them, asked for proof of postage and he admitted they weren't in stock, left it 1 week, still nothing, OH rang and he said he couldn't get them, OH threatened him with Trade Standards and he backtracked and sent out 2 higher spec ones for the same money - took 4 weeks total though and OH was v demanding - wouldn't use them again
They dont take paypal, you have to pay by your card on their own system, and they have to send you a bill before you can pay it! Its ridiculous!
Thanks Miller - I will threaten them with Trading Standards as its been plenty long enough!!

I heard they do now, but I wont use them after their hidden £2 charge!!!
humm terrible company speak to trading standards and raise and undelivered dispute with ebay they are dreadfull had a terrible experiance with them over a badly made rug made out i ripped it appart even though i only had it for 24 hrs!!!! would not give me my money back or replace the rug unless I had it professional cleaned at my expense and sent it back with no kind of replacement!!! Glad i did not send it as i would have never seen the rug or my £80!!! BUYERS BE AWARE OF SADDLERY 4U!! raise a dispute with ebay she will not like that!!
I have just had an email from them.... saying I should have realised I was given a refund a week ago. I had no email advice of this and have not had my card statement since then so how am I supposed to know that! I notice they have taken off £9 YES £9!!! for p&p for a pair of stirrup irons!!!
They didnt even email me to inform me.
And I bought this item in DECEMBER 2007!!! Do NOT use this company they have been a NIGHTMARE!
You and thousands of others. Won't touch with a barge pole. Bet the scum bags give you negative feedback to boot, but may kindly agree to remove it provided you remove any negative you may have left (hence their feedback doesn't look too bad to the unsuspecting)
Well since its been well over 60 days since I bought the item on ebay luckily I have avoided the entire feedback process! But I will be avoiding them at all costs from now on!!
Glad you got your money back in the end (even if it was minus £9!) but it never ceases to amaze me that people STILL continue to buy from these idiots!
It's too bad too as they oftern have things that I like and am quite willing to spend £££ on tack (LOL, blew my budget this week on tack! Shhh, don't tell my OH
) but they have lost my custom FOREVER over a £10 headcollar and a pair of £10 reins!
I have bought several items incredibly cheaply by auction and also BIN items. I absolutely have had no problem with them. Items have arrived as ordered and within a few days.
I agree that the £2 insurance is a rip off, but I just reflect it in my bid.
Maybe I have been lucky, but personally I would have no problem buying from them again.
Agree there is some rather unsavoury feedback, but I have not had personal experience with this.
I also had a very bad experience with this lot, had to pay through their card site, got charged 22.50 p & p for a bridle, (I live outside Aberdeen), they wouldn't answer my emails, just sent abuse, ignoring my questions, I paid the enormous P & P because I wanted the bridle, their site took too much money off my card, got more abuse, they finally refunded my money and then put a claim into ebay that I hadn't paid for my goods!!! I sent the associated mail into ebay and never heard another thing. I have 100% positive feedback and it hasn't been affected. Shame really, all I wanted was the bridle - it looked really nice! Oh and when I offered to pick it up, they claimed they weren't near Aberdeen which was a bit odd.... Received a pair of reins that I bought from them at the same time and was very pleased with them, but wouldn't buy from them again, too much nastiness.
I have bought 3 items from them on 3 seperate occasions and never had a problem with them. The goods were as described and I feel I have got some right bargins. The items were received at the latest 2 days after I had paid. I will be using them again if they are selling something I need at a good price.
Before I had read all the negative reports on HHO, I bought a bridle from them a few months ago which arrived safely and seemed to be good value for money. However, I sent it to a local saddler for a minor repair, and she was very scathing about the quality, although it's English leather, the stitching is very poor, and she said she personally would not trust it to hold together. I guess I should have known that there's no such thing as a free lunch!
absolute c*w bag from hell PM me for more info , i managed to get my unpaid strike and neg feedback removed from this seller!!!! dishonest is an understatement. they/she should be removed from ebay
They are scum, say goodbye to your money. If you pay full price then you usually get the goods otherwise they just don't bother to send them or they are mysteriously "lost in the post". I bought a bridle at a very good price, needless to say never saw it, they denied I had paid but I had printed out the receipt from their website so I claimed through ebay protection although I think I only got about £3 back when I paid nearly £30. I reported them to trading standards and encourage everyone else who they have ripped off to do the same!
I had problems with them too - when I queried something on the bridle I had 'won' on eBay they refunded my money without asking me and now they have put in a non payment claim to eBay! I have 100% positive feedback and never had problems with anyone else. Avoid!
