Has anyone use Saddlery Services @ Beaver Hall in Derbyshire (Sally Cartwright)? Any thoughts or experiences - PM if you prefer.

I believe they do second hand saddles and I need a jumping saddle for my 6yo. I'm not entirely sure of what I want so would like to try a few. My usual saddle fitter doesn't sell second hand (I'm not buying brand new M2M for a 6yo who has already changed shape a huge amount in 3 months) and it always takes week - months to get an appointment...

Thanks :)

I've had 2 saddles off Sally, she is very good and I highly recommend her. Patches has had saddles of her too ;)

Thanks - I had a feeling that was who Patches uses! Do you find her easy to contact by phone?

Did you have Sally out with several second hand saddles to try? I seem to think (is this true?) that she has quite a good selection of second hand that she'll bring for you to try.... I don't really know what I want WRT jumping saddles, only that the pony has a huge jump so I need a seatbelt and he's changing shape rapidly so I don't want to spend a fortune only to have to sell it in 6 months!

You are best ringing after 6.30 in the evenings as Zoe who arranges Sally's appointments works in the day. I've not had second hand ones off her but she has bought my old one's when I've had new. So I would think she has a fair few taken in part x

I have had 3 saddles off Sally she is brilliant and I would not use any one else now! Friends have bought saddles off her too since I first used her and they have all raved about her :)

Used her and rate her very highly.
She keeps a good stock of second hand and if she doesn't have the appropriate saddle she will source it for you.
