Argh what a nightmare. Third saddle fitter has nothing suitable that will fit horse in my budget and unfortunatley I have ran out of ideas. I am also pretty picky which dosent help but I am not spending alot of money on something I hate.
I have tried treeless, bucked like mad. Wintec are wrong shape, thorowgood t4 sits up from his back and after viewing some saddle company saddles I dont really like the look of those either! I cant afford anything too flash either.
Anyway, saddle fitter did try on a gfs pro event new just to see, and he did say it fit although I didnt ride in it as I couldnt afford it and he knew that!
I have now found a nice second hand pro event on saddles direct in budget but saddle fitter has advised against it as he says they are all different?
Has anyone used saddles direct, what are they like for returns?
My logic was that I will try it, and if it dosent fit the £15 postage is cheaper than saddlers callout! But then again it is a risk.
Has anyone bought online and has it worked out for you?
