Saddles for Cobs, Wintec or Thorowgood?

Any body got an opinions or experience with the Wintec or Thorowgood synthetic saddles?

I'm after a smart, comfy synthetic saddle for Ronnie and i quite like the look of the T6 cob from Thorowgood and the Wintec wide.

Any recommendations?

My friend just got a 2nd hand Thorowgood T4 for her cob and is really pleased with it. She had a very reputable saddler out to fit it and she said the Thorowgoods are far superior to the Wintecs.

I have a black synthetic Thorowgood Maxam cob saddle for sale. 17" seat, 9" width from outside of panels. Going cheap as it's just cluttering up the tack room now. lol.
I bought it for Freddie when I got him, and have used it until recently. Now getting a Fylde to show in. PM me if you're interested.

I've found it very comfy and bought it brand new less than a year ago.
 
Had a Thorowgood for my Welsh cob - I really liked it. Even my friend, who tends to be a synthetic saddle snob, rode my girl in xc and really liked it...
 
Thorowgood every time for me, Wintecs just don’t fit my cob, they just roll. I love my T4, do everything in it. Thinking of upgrading to the T6 soon though, just because they look better.
 
thorowgood everytime! have used the maxim versions, the t4,t6. currently i have the t4 on the cob and high wither version on conne x. would def recommend thorogwood, esp the adjustible-ness. def comfortable for riders too
 
I wouldn't even consider the Wintec, the Thorowgood are brilliant for cobs though.

Little Soph - Thankyou for your offer lovely but i think i'm going to get it all done through the saddle guy, probably go for the newest syle too because i will have to keep it for ages!!

Oh dear I must be the only one that loves my wintec wide it fits my cob mare like a dream, and I also find it comfy. Although I have had thorowgoods (sp) and have got on well with those too.
