I'm thinking about getting a new saddle for my cob (through the saddle fitter) just wondered what people have on there cobs?

I have a gfs pro event (older version) fitted really nicely until he lost weight.
I also have a wintec, fits my boy nicely but I don't like it!

Wish I could afford one!! Are you getting it new or second hand?

New as the second hand ones don't fit him :(
Out comes the credit card other wise I would be able to afford it. He went like a dream when I tried him in it and since his back has a few bits of wastage from other saddles we all went to hell with it his comfort is more important.

Mine is getting one too. It's a custom fit so have wait a few weeks for it to be made, but I can't wait!

My friends very sensitive cob has a Humphries and Swain fitted by Kay Humphries and goes like a dream in it. She had a new AH for him before that but it didn't suit him at all.

Solution saddles smart native saddle! Worked a treat for mine and I don't have to worry about it stopping fitting him when he changes shape, as it's totally flexible, so can adjust with him.

I have a second hand black country which my saddler has reflocked completely. Both black country and ideal saddles should fit flat backed cobs ...
