Can anyone recommend a saddle for a wide horse with a flat wither and large shoulder? My horse has had a year off in the field and is now rather round. She is a TB but has the figure of a cob type at the moment!

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Saddle Company...infinitely adjustable and much better fits than the Wintecs etc which only adjust at the front.

Thorowgood. They also now come with changeable gullets as well as fish. The gullet plate is far more secure than the wintec.

I have a show cob and he has a highland and cob VSD by ideal! it fits him really well!

Also i have a sec D and she has a thorowgood T6 Cob saddle it is really good because its so adjustable because they have 3d system, if you go on thorowgoods website you can see what its about!
there new saddles fit really well! plus in todays horse and hound magazine they also have an article on thorowgood saddles!

If you can afford it a black country is fab for cob types. They do one designed for the more rounder figure!
I've had 3 for my welsh D mare and i wouldn't have anything else, when my new mare fills out i will get her one too.
