Have had an email from our hampshire country watch that Thames Valley Police have 3 saddles and a couple of rugs in their possession:

Brown saddle (does have a maker's name on a riveted disk)

Black saddle, makers name is on the saddle

Black saddle (synthetic) with black numnah, may have been taken with the above as they are presently together.

Mauve rug (there is a distinctive pattern to it and maker's name)

Pink Rug (makers name on it)

Their descriptions are deliberately vague but if you know of some one who has had some stolen, it may be worth a call. They think they may have come from Hampshire.

It would help if you could quote a URN number and date or the station that these items are located at. I don't know that ringing 101 to find out about these will be that easy or was it posted on their facebook page?

Thames Valley Horsewatch Co-ordinator said to ring 101, ask for Thames Valley Police and then to ask them to see if they had the information logged.
Unfortunately, he didn't know about this email so was unable to supply further details

Below is more of the email I received:

Thames Valley Police have some saddles, a couple of rugs and power tools in their possession which were seized as the result of ongoing enquiries

Given that none of the property has a postcode or other identify mark to trace it a person who may be the victim of a crime the chances of getting a positive identification are slim.

There may be a chance that the property belongs to some one in Hampshire.

I am listing in vague descriptive terms what property is still unidentified.

If you believe the items could be yours then you are requested to contact the officer below who is liaising with Thames Valley police. She will ask you to demonstrate by description what you had stolen and why the item could be yours.
