i am still searching for a saddle after lots of fittings and trying saddles i just have not found "the one"! I have tried the ideal jessica, wow saddle, a isabell saddle, frank baines and another one which i am not sure of the brand but..... they are just not right. So i have been looking at the passier gilbert, anyone got one or sat in one, what did you think?

Any more ideas on dressage saddles then please say!

I had the passier grand gilbert- it was a lovely saddle- really comfy and fitted Lillie like a glove. The only thing I would say is that it does'nt offer much support but that may be why none of the others are quite right for you. I loved it. I was gutted when it was stolen

Horrible thieving b*stards!!

If not have you tried the Albion SLK or the Black County saddles? I also had a Jaguar which I really got on with but I know lots of people don't.

I had a passier jumping saddle which fited my TB very well, and was comfy to ride in despite being very hard!
I've now got a wow which I love. I have previously ridden in black country and Keiffer dressage saddles both of which I liked...... I guess it depends on what fits your horse.

I would prefer one with more support for the leg, the ones i have tried all altered my leg position and i found it harder to maintain a good leg position.

I've got a gilbert grand passier on my arab, fits him and me perfectly. Its got a lovely deep seat and i would say it offers alot more suppoprt than other dressage saddles i have ridden in but it isn't at all restrictive.
