I have a jumping saddle for Mystic and that is the only saddle i have ridden him in til today.
I had a flat work lesson this morning and my instructor changed my saddle to one of her dressage saddles so i could feel the difference in position. I was surprised at how different and better it felt, am now considering buying a dressage saddle for flatwork/dressage.
I think im going to ache tomorrow :o

What saddles do you have and what do you prefer to ride in?

I have an ideal dressage and a collegiate jumping

I love my dressage saddle; I felt really secure in it and it has helped me improve my position a hundred times over :)

I love my jumping saddle - very comfy and suits me, plus it was very cheap :D Not many people would reccomend a collegiate as a saddle - but everyone who sees me ride always asks what my saddle is & where can they get one! :D

I have a WOW with dressage flaps. Its the most comfy saddle I have ever ridden in. I use ir for schooling and dressage and also for endurance riding.
In my old saddle I used to get off and feel stiff and achy but in the WOW I never do even after a 32k ride.
It also puts me in a fab position unlike my old saddle which really tipped me forwards.

I have a Kent & Masters Cob GP that I use for everything, until May this year I rode in a Wintec 2000 GP.

I'd LOVE a dressage saddle though :p

I have only a dressage saddle made to measure by the English Saddle Company. Really comfy and I use it for popping small jumps and it feels absolutely fine!

I have a Lovatt and Ricketts Elipse dressage saddle on Sirena, I would not have thought of buying it but got it at trade, made to measure, years ago, it has been a fab saddle and kept me in the plate during the worst of her 'airs above ground' on numerous occasions. I briefly changed to an Ideal Jessica but sold that and went back to the L&R, we both preferred it.

Lluna has an Isabel Werth dressage saddle, I love that too :)

I have a Barnsby show saddle which I use only for "best".

At the yard for everyday hacking I have 2 Thorowgood Griffin GP saddles (one brown, one black) thats 1 for each of my two girls. For everyday use they are my favourite saddle by far, lovely and light and very comfortable, as far as synthetics go.
