Saddles?!

Butet saddles at Slederholme select the bridles are lush the showjumpers won the olympics in these saddles they are so different to the Normal heavy uncomfortable saddles give them a ring they do have some nice second hand ones in at the moment good luck.

What shape is his back? If he has a very high wither he'll need a deeper seat, if he is flatter as some TBs are then he won't need anything special, just something that fits :). I'd probably go pure showing rather than WH but if the saddles I fit are anything to go by WH can be straight cut and elegant :)

I do always caution against very close contact showing saddles with thin panels, especially the very thin foam ones - I see way too much damage caused by these, even if they are in balance, but most are down at the back. Look for something with a decent depth of flocked panel.

Dark brown as always, and the bridle I think depends on whether he is hack type or riding horse type as you turnout to type in those classes I think, but I'm far from an expert.

Butet don't make showing saddles.

as much as i would love a butet they are only really eventing, jumping and dressage.

well he is high withered, but i really love the all suede ones but i assume those are the ones with the thin foam panels so that wouldn't fit him :/

do WH saddles get good points in light horse showing or is that not an issue?

Not the issue at all :) - as long as they are straight cut and show the shoulder off, whatever works in terms of you sitting and riding well and the horse moving well, is much more important than going super minimal or straight cut.

I know we would happily make an all suede saddle but people rarely want them - your leg covers the middle part of the flap so we stock part suede with suede seat, knee and thigh pads. Then the middle of the flap is leather under the stirrup leather - suede gets massively flattened here anyway and ends up looking like leather!
