Silly question i have a 15hh pony which i ride in a 17.5" saddle my question is this, can i put a 14" or 15" saddle on the pony as my little boy wants to start riding her but my saddle is too big for my lad. Sorry for the silly question the kids have been home from school for 5 weeks now and my mind is in melt down.

Yes, that wont be a problem you might need a longer girth tho!

The smaller saddle should be fine, but just watch that it is not sitting too far forward.

yours sounds like a very big saddle for a 15 hander, i'm amazed it isn't sitting on its loins. a smaller saddle is absolutely fine, as long as it's the right fitting underneath.
