Safety Breeches Anyone!

found these on then net after wondering if there was anything on the market to protect bum especally coccyx...made by Dainese who make motorcycle clothing for high impact.. just ondering if anyone has experience with them? or know of alternatives... not to bad a price considering the potential to save you from a nasty bruise

Not that particular model but I have some Dainese under trousers I wear on my motorbike underneath my leathers, they have padded hips and cocyx area. Thankfully I've not come off wearing them so I have no safety test for you but I can tell you they are massively comfortable but the sizes come up very small.

One of my old body protectors years ago had the elastic crotch strap and the padding went right over my cocyx, came off a few times wearing it and saved me getting a bruised and numb bum! The only problem with it was it would catch on the saddle.

I'm a bit of a nut for adapting motorcycle wear into equestrian wear, my bike gloves have armoured knuckles and are soooo warm. I wish I could have worn them out hunting as they would've saved me from bramble and hawthorn injuries on numerous occasions
