As title says really... I am considering moving to a new livery yard but my biggest concern is that the stabling I'd adjoined to the hay barn and just seperated by a wooden partition, the hay barn is one of those open fronted ones.

Can anyone reassure me this I'd perfectly safe and not a fire risk?

Thanks!

There are so many risks associated with horse ownership .Yes this is not ideal ,but it is always the accident you don't expect that happens. You will (or rather your horse will) never be totally safe. But in my (slightly deranged ) mind, my horse worries , about me driving a car .Work to make the yard safer ,in as nice a way as you can. But to live is to take risks.

Doesn't comply with horse welfare regulations so could be a problem with your horse insurance. Our planning authority insist upon it being separate for new builds.
