I was walking to Tesco Express to get some lunch today and a car approached towing a trailer (1 of the small ones, not a horse trailer). As it came off the roundabout, the trailer fell off creating a shower of sparks as the hook hit the tarmac. The driver panicked and braked, so the trailer smashed in to the back of his car.

The key safety tip is to make sure that your trailer is properly attached to the towing ball. His must have been sitting on top and not locked down properly!

Very good tip

Nightmare!

Good tip there. I am not allowed to tow a horse trailer though as I missed the DVLA cut off point by 6 months! 6 months

Luckily the yard has one of those horse shuttle van things!
