After nearly having a nasty crash yesterday whilst towing, caused by an idiot overtaking me and just missing an on coming car and caravan I've finally invested in a dash cam. I'm looking for a sticker to go on my trailer ramp warning of cameras in operation. Has anyone got one or can recommend where to go to get on? Thank you

My dash cam has arrived. I've ordered some stickers off Amazon but not sure they are big enough. There are 5 stickers so thought I will just put one under another so people can see them. I usually have at least one idiot overtaking dangerously each outing si it will be interesting to see if this helps.

I was going to say to buy a rear view mirror dash cam

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314095778488?hash=item4921913ab8:g:~YgAAOSwnGRi64HY but as you've already bought one this might come in useful for people that haven't/

These are really good, so you can see what's behind you if you buy one that has that feature (when trailer less) but it obviously records what's in front of you too, as well as being able to use the rear view mirror as a normal rear view mirror (it just clips over the top).

I find it much better than the standard dashcam and my partner and I both have one and have for about four years now. They are so popular the price has come down quite dramatically now on dashcams and provide invaluable proof in the event of an accident.

To be honest I can't understand why

a) everyone doesn't have a dashcam
b) insurance companies don't give you a discount if you have a dashcam (there is conclusive evidence in the event of an accident and saves a lot of time and bother with the he did/she did scenario)

I've been meaning to get one for ages. The last 3 times I've towed I've nearly been wiped out. You should be offered a discount with the insurance company, saves them investigating.
