So I was going on a 2 week holiday, had work and mini minder and hector rota to organise so didn't ride a week. Got home with covid and then got a chest and sinus infection so i was feeling pretty dang rough. Didn't see the bear for 3 weeks and then didn't have energy to do any more than a quick visit and start his usual grooming on legs etc (Carer did what they thought was best in the mean time, when i got home i started his usual routine with added pink cream. why does it have to be pink 
) I gave him a loose school which was hilarious. Finally after 5 weeks off i just hopped on and had a lovely ride in the windy torrential rain we had on our island, then the next day went for a tiny canter over the fields to get away from the flies, then we spent some time in the field whilst he contemplated my latest style choices for him. His girlfriend did not enjoy his new look. Regardless, this horse is just such a saint, 5 weeks off (longest hes ever been left with me) and not a eyelid batted. Think ill keep him.
