Oooh...where? Looking for a yard for our 2 but must have good facilities - Assisted DIY or would consider a could deal on part. PM if you prefer. Would I be far wrong in saying about 15k a year?
15k a year for a yard manager is poor pay IMO, there is a lot of responsibility, not just of the running of the yard but of the horses, the people, safety, insurance issues, admin, etc..
i dunno about the cheshire area but I was yard manager up just outside glasgow
5 day week managing and teaching livery yard/ riding school for £9-10 k . needless to say i left. It will depend on employer but teh average seems to be about the £18-25k mark higher if you have teaching / schooling~training (backing breaking etc)
