I work full time on a yard for a shipping agent, the work is on a casual contract and hrs fluctuate with the number of horses in. I'm employed by the agent, paye tax etc etc is sorted by them.

In a thought of earning some extra cash and as have fluctuating hrs thought of going for a sales rep job for a supplement company earning on a commission basis.

What do I have to do in lamens terms for tax purposes in terms of the rep work. I'm not looking at it becoming a full time role, just something to fill in time when the yard work jobs etc. do I just need to do a self assessment form or what?
