A woman at our yard has recently demanded that the owners put a tap at her fields because she refuses to use the water troughs as crows may have infected the water with Salmonella. Not only is this causing huge inconvience to the owner but also to everyone else because she will not move to a field where she cannot have a tap for water buckets. I've never heard of horses becomming infected with Salmonella through water and i don't know if this is true as the woman read it off the internet! Can anybody help or explain the truth please?
