Anyone got any opinions on Sam Champney-Warrener? As rider / trainer? I am considering sending my horse off to her for a couple of weeks schooling and then ongoing training to stay on track so would welcome any opinions.

I have heard she is quite tough but that's a bonus for me, I need shouting at....

PM if you prefer!

I don't know her, so can't add much.. apart from she has evented to Adv. + level, but a long time ago, therefore it's not on her BE record now.. only the young horses that she's obviously bringing on, which seem pretty good results to me!! placed in the top 10 every time out this year bar twice, one of which she came 11th.. i'd be very proud of that!!

I'm showing my age now

, but she used to do a lot more years ago (she had Mallards Treat before he ended up with Andrew Nicholson and Matthew Wright) when I was doing big stuff with William Hill. I thought she was a very quiet and effective rider.

i can't say a bad word about her she has helped me and my horses over the years, if it wasn't for her i proberbly wouldn't have gotten on a big horse again after a nasty accident i had last year. at the end of the day we can't all like the same people everyone teaches/ride's diffrently, i have a very naughty youngster and she has done wonders for him and me but again we all like diffrent things.

Have pm'd you on this one!
I really rate her. Been very effective for me. I've sold a horse through her and she is my current instuctor/trainer.
She's evented up to advanced level, but for the past year or two has been concentrating on her producing/selling side of her business.
She's completely unpretentious, not all flashy just a incrediably competant rider-as per Nickym, quiet, effective and she really knows her stuff.
