Samaii (Sambertino/Brentano II) our home bred 3 year old Premium ZfDP stallion completed his 30 day test yesterday at the Brandenburg state stud in Neusdadt (Dosse) - following in his fathers footsteps!

He was a brilliant boy - the only coloured out of some of the best 30 3 year old stallions in Germany including :

Klosterhof Medingen (2006 Trakehner licensing Premium stallion - Krokant),

Vorwerk - (Callistus - 2006 Oldenburg licensing Vice Champion - jumping ),

Sprehe - ( Swarovski - 2006 Oldenburg licensing Vice Champion Dressage).

as well as stallions from Famos, Klatte etc, etc.

Samaii's pace scores averaged 8.0 including 8.5 walk
Rideability 8.13
8.75 - Character/Interieur

these scores made him joint 8th place Dressage which is the same placing that Sambertino had out of 43 stallions on his 100 day test at Neustadt too

I love this horse, was looking at him on your website last night, would love to use him on my coloured mare sometime in the future, the video of him under saddle is amazing!

Thanks very much!! No, he wont come back to the UK for some time. He will have to do a 70 day test, probably at the end of next year & he will be out competing again in Germany in 2008. Ecki Wahlers rides & trains all our boys & does a fantastic job with them!!!

As we needed to be able to ship chilled semen to the UK, as well as freezing for export, we set up a semen station - Gestut WM - in partnership with Ecki a couple of years ago.

Thanks again everyone - I am still on cloud 9!!

Here are some pics taken earlier in the year - there werent any photographers at the test - which was a bit of a shame - but on reflection their plaiting skills were a bit random!!!

Congratulations! You can see what a joy he must be to ride by the ear to ear grin on the riders face!!! Having done a fair few 3yr olds i know what your face looks like when they are not quite so co-operative!!
His markings are lovely and that pure white tail is extraordinary!!
