Same make, model and size as PF's saddle, but this one doesn't fit.

PF has a very nice Santa Cruz saddle that fits her better than any other saddle I tried on her. SO I thought it would be prudent, as I was after a new saddle, to buy the same make and model again. This one is a more 'modern' version (removeable/adjustable blocks) but doesn't fit nearly as well.
Is there any chance the saddle needs to 'settle' or shape against her back? She was very skinny when I bought the first one, and it sat too low, so had to use a prolite pad until she filled out. The panels on this one seem 'rounder'.
Any ideas/suggestions...?

Maybe they are using a different make of tree or have just changed the shape of the panels.

Annoying though if they have changed the style, and it doesn't fit PF as well.

I am having exactly the same problem. Have a four year old wintec cair 171/2 inch medium fitting, fits both my horses perfectly. Bought another one recently and it dosen't fit either of them, seems bigger and bulkier somehow. I am going to speak to my saddler when i next go in and find out if they changed the specification on the newer ones. Worried that as it is filled with air it wont 'bed in' like other saddles over time.
