So far so good 
They have called us a couple of times through the week with questions, is he insured, how does he travel in the car, they want to take him on a few days out through the school hols etc. They are working on his separation issues, rather than just ignoring it. They have been taking him for a good walk then leaving him for up to half an hour at a time to let him settle. So far he has been a model citizen, has formed a bit of a bond with younger son who is smitten with him and behaved very well. We are very hopeful that this is going to work out and still cant quite believe how lucky we were to find them. They know they can call us if they run into problems, we would still like to take responsibiity for any nasty decisions if they have to be made but for now, things are looking quite rosy for Sammie.
