OMG don't get me started- if there are no other cars parked outside I won't go in! lol. Great for second hand stuff but absolutely must know what you are looking for- the box of bits makes such a loud clanging sound and draws attention- i'm getting good a quiet shuffling now! And the till that is my favourite!

OMG are the old bats still there? I remember going there years ago and wanting a new pair of long boots which I needed measuring for. I had saved up the money for ages. Anyway after waiting for maybe an hour for someone to come and measure me I finally pursuaded one of them to do it, placed my order and left. Nothing happened for several weeks and I phoned to ask when they would be ready. Old bat said 'we didnt think you were serious so we didnt place the order' Never did get the boots, I had to go and order them elsewhere

I cannot believe that Sandon Saddlery and Dawn D-N is still going, My first riding hat came from there, I started riding at 8 and will be 50 this year!
DD-N and I think her assistant was Miss Travis who was equally as formidable could certainly be described as 'old school'.

Wonderful wonderful place - I used to spend ages there. Ms DN always had to help me fit my jods
They were so kind when I got married, I asked if they had a suitable side saddle I could hire, Ms DN went and got me her personal old saddle which she said would fit my mare perfectly, would not take anything for it and said bring it back whenever I had finished with it.
When I gave them flowers, cake and showed the wedding pics, they were so pleased - especially the one of me dismounting, dress round my waist and showing my thong.
As said very old school, very knowledgeable and most sweet and with a good eye for a bit of "quality flesh".

I neva go alone and only go if i need somethink ... u cn nearly always find it there lol
Stupidly i went there with a Jacket on with another local equestrian shop name on hte back of it ... lol tht was a bit of a shock wen they fnd tht out lol

O god, the last time i went was less than a year ago so she must have died like after i went, it wont be the same without her. I seriously agree i always go with at least 3 people so that i can run away if i need to lmao
