ok, im going for the pony champs next week

hes going to stonar for some two day training on mon and tues (trot up is on thurs)

hes a pony that gets fresh and needs to be kept tired (even before big events i think!)

and I was planning on cantering him twice before then - on sat and weds.... is that sensible?

also i wanted to give him one canter on hill work (we have a track with a 1 min steep hill) and a longer (5/6 mins) canter in a big field.... which way round do you think I should do it and do you think that that is sensible?

help... panicking child!!!
 
Sounds fine I would give him a good workout on Saturday and a shorter but sharper work out on Wednesday - maybe once or twice up the hill at quite a good pace.

Good luck anyway might see as we are competing Sunday.

If you have the time, could you do me a list of the PTs in order of difficulty XC- am just starting out next year and would like to know whats what so I dont frighten the life out of me and the boy!!!
