Bless them they did so well, would have been first, but he seemed to think that 35 cms should be jumped as if it is 6ft!!!!! But she stayed on that was the main lesson learned.

2nd lesson is being taught ATM, she is a very poor looser, and is currently sobbing into her rocking horse telling it how she hates blue and only likes winning red!!!! Little brat :) she is only 5 though.

However I digress here are pics of our day ....

Awwww shes soo cute! I especially love the last pic.....with the finger in the corner :D

Tell her well done! Second is amazing!

Its a good life lesson to learn, that you dont always win- one that is better learnt young. I know a girl whose parents used to go and buy red rosettes so her daughter always won- which was fine when she was 3, but as she got older and progressed into pony club the little girl had real problems, she threw tantrums, screamed and sobbed if she didnt win. IMO its far better to learn that you dont always win, and the point is to go out and have fun with your pony.

Love the pics and the elf costume, super cute! :)

Thank you naughty elf, in-between sobs, I told her that you said second is amazing ( as have I :) ) her sad reply was ' I think it is rubbish!!'

I am with you all the way, and reminded her of all the boys and girls that got a well done rosette, and were very pleased to get that.

It is falling on deaf ears, so a few, green yellow and any other colour will not do her any harm ATM :D

I understand her disappointment, but I hate a bad looser, and a big head winner even more :D

And thank you for the cute comments, they really did have a good time :)

Aw! Adorable photos :D I love the Christmassy sheet and hat hehe!!

To be honest, I was (and still am) pleased if I get the horse over all the jumps, rosettes are a very big bonus for me XD

All is now calm, rosette has now proud of place on rocking horse!!!

Although I am not pleased with her reasons for calming down, at least she us understanding that everyone was amazed she stayed on after his huge jump ( and it was massive )

She is now dressing up her rocking horse like Levi :D

A little girls work is never done :) xx
