Sapros ( Russian Trakehner)

Hello All,

Am a new user can I just thankyou for the reply's regarding my new foal ?. As I live in France it's so nice to chat & to exchange views.

Just wondering if anyone else can help regarding the Stallion Sapros, I've owned my Trakehner Mare for nearly a year now bought when in foal to Maestro, but I've been trying to find details about Sapros & what his offspring are doing, can anyone help ? Damo

All I remember about Sapros is that he had/has the most incredibly beautiful head.

Tell me about your mare and Maestro foal though??? I owned a mare that had several by him, would have loved to use him for her daughter that I kept (not by him) as they produced some very good horses.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the reply, Matihilda is lovely only 4 br/blk mare around 16h, not broken of course due to her being in foal, she was bred by Bluewood Stud in England,she has Sapros head very trk, Moonlight Sorrento is Beautiful Jet Black with 2 white socks on hind legs & white star, she's a week old now & everthing ok so far, allready loves her bum being scratched like her mum. Moves like she's floating on water just like her Mum.
