I was just wondering whether anyone used any of their feeds, what they thought of them and what they used to feed before?

I was really interested in a few products they do as there seems so much scientific evidence on each feed, so I filled in a form on their website and have received a really good breakdown on what I should feed, why and what is included. I have graphs and a full A4 page of writing on Grace.

They have recommended a feed based on Show Improver Mix with the Equi-Jewel included...

IMO they are great, spot on with their feedstuffs, spot on marketing and we are local(ish) so we can get a nutritionist out too! The SI mix is wonderful, it has as you say the equi jewel in it so you dont have to buy it seperatly. Had it on several diff. horses and it does what it says! Gets a brilliant coat too! I dont work for them LOL.

I feed their Cool Mix with herbs. All my ponies love it. Also feed their Super Fibre Pencils (pony nuts) as a filler for the chubby ones in the winter!

Have also fed their Equi Jewel. Brilliant stuff, really helped to put the weight on over the winter. Costs about £30 a sack and that lasted my mare about a month.

Swapped to Saracen's because they're close to me, my pony suffered Urticaria one winter and was very thin and I needed advice from someone trustworthy, so phoned their nutritionist, explained the problem and she gave me advice on what to feed and how much. They also sent samples so ponies could try it first.

Really impressed.

i feed 2 of mine sracen feeds

Evie used to have show improver pencils and the improved her condition really quickly so shes not on them anymore as she was too fat. They dont heat them up either

Ulrich has re-leve as he needed something to maintain his weight but not buzz him up. He will also have equi-jewl through the winter.

Gigolo has equi-jewel as he doesn't have much condition and show improver pencils and he is already looking a bit better!

Would deffo recomens them!

I use ReLeve & have been really impressed with it. Jim's cribbing is far worse on cereals & he can be picky with his feed so I need something that he likes but has no cereal in it. Not sending him hyper is a big bonus too! ReLeve meets all of these & he looks great so we're both happy ;D

I wish we were! (CCJ is sponsored by Science with Nature). We got a free saracen logoed saddle cloth last week so that may be what you read.
We struggled with the stallion to keep him looking good and lively enough, as he is idle but stressy when not ridden.
I contacted four feed manufacturers and Saracen gave me the best plan, they rang and emailed asking loads of questions, and even fine tuned the rations for us.
The results were amazing, the stallion became livelier without being stupid, the equijewel has a high oil content so he keeps weight on and shines beautifully.
Looking through their product list and it's spec is an experience, I truly had no idea they were such big names in horsefeeding.
Chocx eats about two bags of Prep 14 a week plus 8lbs a day of equijewel, plus of course his joint supplement and add lib haylage. We don't add balancer anymore he doesn't seem to need it as the feed is so comprehensive.
I initially thought we would try it for a month and see how it worked, now we wouldn't change..
