We have used this feed where i work with amazing results,on poor looking horses. i tried it on my tb with little effect, which
was dissapointing. i might try some outshine but have not seen it locally in shops. Anyone else tried these, or similar weight gaining products?

I have never ever known equi-jewel fail, it is amazing stuff!! No underlying cause for the horse being poor?

I too agree I am surprised EJ hasn't worked, we used it in conjunction with prep 14 and now have two horses on it the results were so good.
I also feed oil, have you tried adding that? our horses gleam with health and I don't feed them all on expensive stuff, some are on just cheapo hilight mixes!

Another big fan of EJ here, amazing results and totally non heating, way better than Outshine.

Have just started my trakehner on equi-jewel as want to put more topline and condition on without getting bucked off!! What amounts did you feed to get the best results?

I feed two cups a day with the horses at work. one am, one pm

Hi thanks that is what I am giving. The rep said could give 4 a day each horse but that seemed very expensive....

Just wanted to say thanks, I have a Sec D who just drops weight overnight. He's a nightmare to keep in show condition. I have tried everything inc milk pellets, outshine, barley rings etc etc.

I am now on week 3 of equijewel and everyone that has seen him including OH (shock horror) had commented that he has put on weight. I'm feeding 500grams per day might up it a bit once we start competing but he is looking alot better now.

So fingers crossed this year I don't get lovely horse but needs more weight aarrgghh!!
