Can anyone give me any information on this drug? I can read a lot online re: it's use in the USA but little in relation to the UK.

Is it illegal here?

Nope not illegal. Used in an anti-inflammatory capacity alongside steroids in sacroiliac and DSP injections. Its use is very clinician dependant, those who have never used it may see no need, those who have seem to like it a lot.

Thanks Glenruby. Good to know. I'm looking into it as an alternative to steroids for pain relief for mild KS.

It has been used successfully in overweight and laminitis prone horses for that purpose. If it is a competition horse, be aware it is on the controlled substance list and there is no known detection time for it.
